How much would it cost to adopt a siberian husky puppy in NY?
looking to get one but dont know how much the breed costs
I'd guess $700-$1000 to buy a well-bred puppy from genetically cleared parents. Possibly less for a backyard bred puppy with no health guarantees.
Please research the breed fully before you decide on one - they aren't the breed for everyone.

A good husky will be expensive. You are looking around the $900 mark. Nice to see someone with so much fore thought before getting a dog

To rescue one or buy one?
If you're rescuing a Siberian GOOD FOR YOU!!!
Give yourself a pat on the back.
The rescue I volunteer for has a "suggested donation" amount. We never tell the people who are adopting it's a "donation" but it's in the print.
Our "suggested donation" is $285 for puppies, $200 for 1-2 yrs, and $175 for adults.
If you need help finding a rescue let me know. Also I can help find a reputable breeder. Follow Locki's suggestions.
WOW there are MANY rescues in New York! Must be a popular breed there!
